  Speakers

  Mary Foley, Executive Director of MSDA (Medicaid, Medicare, CHIP Services Dental Association). Since joining MSDA, Ms. Foley has been instrumental in broadening national and state-level stakeholder collaboration, raising awareness about the importance of oral health, and advancing state program policy and protocols to improve health and health care and reduce costs for Medicaid programs and their beneficiaries. Ms. Foley served as Dean of the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at MCPHS University.

  Patrick Finnerty, Consultant and Senior Advisor for State Oral Health Programs with the DentaQuest Partnership for Oral Heath Advancement for a discussion on how oral health affects overall health and the associated costs. Mr. Finnerty has a long history with states and public health programs and offers a unique appreciation of the challenges they face. He is the former Medicaid Director for Virginia, managed the Virginia state employee health benefits program, and directed a legislative health policy commission. He holds Master of Public Administration and B.S. degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University.
